I’m pretty sure I have an addiction problem.  I will blame my parents as we do and no doubt my children will blame me for their issues.  My addiction is with sugar and processed food!

As a child I was given pudding if I ate all my dinner and lollies if I behaved well or was being bribed to behave well.  I then grew up and treated myself, although now I was in charge of dispensing the treats.  I made the rules which meant treats for; happy times, sad times, social times and ‘just cause’ times.  Let’s face it my life turned into one big sugar treat fest.

Not too long ago I accepted I am now an adult and that meant taking responsibility for my sugar addiction.  I am predicting my journey to healthy eating with limited sugar isn’t going to be an easy one.  And so it begins…
