In this unprecedented time, Red Cross continues working in our Hawke’s Bay community – delivering the essential service of Meals on Wheels to vulnerable people.
Our thanks to amazing volunteers who have stepped up to deliver these meals when many of our own regular Red Cross volunteers have had to step aside.
At New Zealand Red Cross we are encouraging everyone to use the term ‘physical distancing’ instead of ‘social distancing’. As we all step into this new uncertain environment it is really important to stay socially connected, keep in touch with neighbours, friends and family, checking in to make sure they are all ok. Remove the physical presence; no kissing, hugging or touching.
Together we can get through this.
Kia Kaha Hawke’s Bay!
