Dear Supporter

I hope that you have remained well and safe in your bubble over the past few weeks. My thoughts have been with you, and indeed still are, in this time of uncertainty.

For most of us, keeping ourselves and our bubbles safe and healthy has been a big and often unsettling job, but for some of you, you may have also had to deal with some major stresses. I really hope that you have been able to access the support that you need – the official government COVID-19 website has some good information that might be of help.

This week the country moved to Alert Level Three and we are seeing, what is hopefully, the start of a long road to full recovery.  Businesses have begun to open, and people move around a little more within lightly expanded bubbles.  Important rules still remain – it is still essential that we keep to our bubbles, practice safe social distancing, and do everything we can to reduce the chance of a return to COVID Alert Level Four.

At all COVID-19 Alert Levels, the team at Cranford Hospice is here to care for you and your loved ones here in Hawke’s Bay. Pictured below is a photo of our lovely nursing team, all ready to care for people at home.

This is where I need to thank you. We rely on the generosity of the Hawke’s Bay community to deliver the best possible palliative care. It is because of your ongoing support that we can care for people when they need us.

You all do so much for Cranford Hospice. This message was the one thing that I could think of that I could do for you right now, along with our thoughts. At the bottom of this email, my team have collated some information that might be of interest, including a celebration of local businesses who have supported us over the past year or so.

Please take care of yourself and your family and whānau and stay safe!

I will continue to keep you updated. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact me. My email is
