The widespread unpredictability and impact of the pandemic has already caused significant disruption to the Foundation, none more so than for the many men, and their families, we support. Be among the first to commit to make a donation to help Kiwi men get the support they need.
With no government funding we rely heavily on event-based fundraising and the cancellation of two major events already this month means the loss of thousands of dollars of revenue. And, many more events planned for 2020 now hang in the balance. That’s why we need your help today.
Men with prostate cancer are potentially at greater risk from COVID-19 as their treatment can leave them immune compromised. More than ever, they need to be able to call on us for support but we have had to cancel all our support group meetings and patient forums. Right now we are working on other ways to support men during this crisis, alongside our existing 0800 HELPLINE and Online Forum.
The Foundation is facing an unprecedented financial challenge. We have to think differently and are investing in new ways of providing this support. That’s why your donation can really make a difference now for Kiwi men.
